Modern Investment Casting Company Receives Rebate for HVAC Upgrades
Congratulations to the first two companies in Ponca City to received Demand and Energy Efficiency Program (DEEP) rebates during the first part of 2012: Modern Investment Casting Company (MICC) and Precision Tool and Die.
Modern Investment Casting Company (MICC)
MICC was presented a rebate check from Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority's (OMPA) DEEP for heating, ventilation and air condition (HVAC) upgrades to the MICC facility. The amount of the rebate check for the HVAC improvements was $2,045.55 and was presented to the company and their representative, Dale White on July 27, 2012. According to Tom Willis, OMPA Member Services Energy Engineer, "The HVAC upgrades reduced electrical demand by 10.2 kW. The reduction ofo these demands help keep energy rates as low as possible for our member cities and delays the need to add additional capacity to the system." Translation: Good Job on conserving energy with your new equipment.
Modern Investment Casting Company was founded in 1982 and leads the way in small, precision type casting used in all industries. This foundry maintains the latest equipment available for applying the unique "Lost Wax" investment casting process which requires little or no machine work and can be cast with either ferrous or non-ferrous materials including all grades of stainless steel, high and low grade carbon steel and bronze and aluminum. Cool, or rather, hot stuff!
